I decided to order The Great Gatsby from Netflix the other day. I wanted to relive the novel, which I haven't read since high school. The movie seemed to live up to the book, as far as I can remember it. I thought the acting was decent and the characters looked similar to what I remember imagining when I read the book. The story was good as well, but I knew that before I watched the movie. Also, Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston) from Law and Order starred as the narrator Nick Carraway. That was a big plus for me! I recommend seeing this film and definitely reading the book (read the book before watching the film if possible).
